Etsy: Summer's Hottest Accessories

All of these are on my wish list for the summer. I am currently stocking up on accessories and have been finding some really cute items while thrifting and on Target's clearance racks. I love shopping Etsy but I mostly go there for ideas and inspiration because I know I can find similar items while thrift shopping and get them for less :-)

Fabulously Frugal: Vintage Shop

Hello Ladies. I am currently in the process of setting up my online vintage/thrift shop. I am very excited about this. People always ask me where I find a lot of the pieces that I wear and lately I have been thrifting for them as well as myself (double the fun). I think a shop is a great way to connect with my fellow vintage/thrift lovers. I'm a Etsy stalker so I love finding items online that I wouldn't be able to find shopping in my city alone. I will be throwing up pieces here and there on the online shop. Nothing major yet. I do have some shoes up on the shop. You can go to http://fabulouslyfrugalvintageshop.bigcartel.com/ and check them out. You might see something that you like :-)

Cool Deals: ValuePak.com

If you don't receive Vaule Pak coupons in the mail then you are missing out on some awesome deals. I personally hate a bunch of clutter so it's rare that I hold on to those loads of coupons and circulars that I receive. I love to go to valuepak.com because it's easier to navigate and I can go directly to the coupons that interest me. Which is restaurants and shops. I don't cook so I don't care much for grocery coupons LOL.
Just punch in your zip code and your good to go :-)

I may need to take a trip down to Carolina Car Care LOL

Frugal Fashion: Maxi Birthday

So I'm officially 30 LOL. It feels good. There's no feelings of unaccomplished things or where I should be. I'm just happy and blessed to see another birthday and be healthy both physically and mentally. For my birthday an old "friend" of mine called me up and took me out for drinks and a meal in NoDa. It's a little section in Charlotte that reminds me of the West Village back home in NYC. Well nothing compares to home but the artsy feel of NoDa makes me feel like I'm close to home lol. I had a blast and wore a maxi dress for the first time ever. I've always hated long dresses because I'm so short and I feel like I look even shorter. But it was like 100 degrees outside and denims were not an option.

This pic is a little spooky to me LOL. FYI, I love owls

Frugal Fashion: Out & About

July 12th is my birthday. The big 3-0. So we decided to hang out this past Saturday night since mostly of my friends and family will be out of town this weekend. We hit up Luna Lounge. Didn't stay long because of some undesirable things I saw in there LOL. After that we hit up the Savoy. I never see any cute guys in there but the music is on point. I just loved my dress. The bust area was very 1950's style with the pointy breast look. Very classic. Plus the print on the dress was just gorgeous. I felt a more strappy shoe would of went better with this dress but I couldn't find a cute pair on sale at the last minute. I think I still looked hot tho :-)
Dress: $12 Platos Closet
Shoes: $5 Target  Clearance

Close up of the print. The lace around the bust area is what sold me
